Anthony Timberland Center

Completed in 2025, the Anthony Timberland Center for Design and Materials Innovation is a towering mass timber building, with both the structural bones and enclosing skin being composed of wood, much of which came from the surrounding region to showcase the abundance of responsible materials available in proximity to the project site. The building is part of the university of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design. It features an 11,000 square-foot workshop on the bottom floor with tall ceilings and cranes to allow for more exploration into materials and construction methods.

The remaining floors of the building provide for additional classrooms and meeting spaces that will allow the next generation of students to push the limits of what is possible in architecture, design, and material selection. With its unique structure and components it shines brightly as a beacon of the future for the city of Fayetteville.
