Northglenn City Hall

Northglenn City Hall provides inviting and efficient point-of-service locations for customers and visitors and day-lit workplaces for the city staff. A reimagined workplace ecosystem provides staff with the amenities needed to support the variety of activities that comprise their daily routines. The new City Hall offers a fresh, progressive facility at the center of the precinct, serving as an anchor for this re-invented public forum.

The City Hall aligns with the CORE Green Building rating system from the International Living Future Institute (ILFI), with measures including:

  • Net-Zero energy with on-site renewable energy production via roof top and canopy mounted photovoltaics

  • 100% of irrigation demand met with on-site rainwater capture, an effort that required advocacy and an augmentation plan to comply with Colorado Water Law

  • 50% embodied carbon reduction featuring mass timber construction

It will be the first municipal building to achieve CORE Green Building certification in Colorado, demonstrating Northglenn’s commitment as a leader in regenerative design practices & sustainable operations.
