SSS Showhouse

A magical wooded lot in Michigan is where designer Sarah Sherman Samuel set off to build her first ever, from the ground up design; the Sarah Sherman Samuel Showhouse. Inspired by the great outdoors, the house features organic materials and colors. The exterior of the home is a beautiful combination of our BRNSH Burned Pine, Black Oil siding with terracotta brick from Concrete Collaborative. The project was designed in collaboration with Mera Studio Architects and construction was managed by Sarah and her husband Rupert allowing for ultimate freedom and flexibility in the build.

We used the Burned Pine, black oil finish for the sss showhouse, mixing it with a terracotta brick. The charred planks add an organic layer to the modern facade. It can look subtle from a distance but the texture brings such a luxurious quality to the house.
